I originally had no plans to enter any boots this year. I picked these up in February 2025, but found out later that week that I was laid off from my job. I wasn't in a rush to wear them, knowing that I'll wear them for the rest of my life (and probably will be buried in, haha), but the sudden loss of income was an unexpected mental hurdle to start wearing an expensive pair of boots that are also a piece of art. Suddenly it was late summertime, and I decided to enter them. Unsung's customer service was great. I communicated with them for a little over a year before these were completed. Grant went through several hides and swatches with me in the shop, showed examples of what different thread colors would look like on a scrap piece of the hide we selected, and sent photos almost every day as they were being constructed. 10/10Shop similar
