TTS Brannock. Goral recommend going down if you are a 1/2 size, probably the right call for most. I had a pair of regular SMUGS that were a half size too big and got pretty bad hot spots where the quarters meet the vamp, because the stiff construction there was hitting at the flex point. TTS with these and that area is further back on the instep with no issues.
Pretty close to a true barefoot shoe feel with a comfortable & minimal amount of cushion. As someone who rotates boots, sandals and barefoot shoes I can walk a couple miles straight on pavement with these before my feet start to tire out. Longer days and most people will want something more supportive. It’s like having a pair of chromexcel socks. Very comfortable for a relaxed day or afternoon walk.
