Why I own this

Outdoor Activities

Been wearing Iron Heart since 2010, and the denimhead culture flows through my veins. Walked the path from RW etc until I heard about this incredible small Norwegian shoe company, that makes the most beautiful boots.

This is my fourth Dundas pair, so they said they’d make a custom GS42 with new leather for me for this competition! Honoured!!

As I live in the Arctic, the weather here in Tromsø is random. We had 50cm of snow one night. A few days later it all melted. So he been at it in snow and rain and slush and shit haha but the patina is really coming along quickly 🤩

Break-In

I’ve worn the original black Gunnersife 42 for about a year. It still looks the same, only is the sole which is replaced and the leather is worn on the sides. This one took less time to break in. Also the cognac leather changes every time I go outside. It’s easy to apply a thin layer of wax on it and I just love the aliveness!

Couldn’t ask for more from a boot. It’s solid. It’s hard leather, but it is cushioned on the sides. It molds quickly to my feet. It looks sublime!! Such strong craftsmanship.

Final thoughts

Would Recommend
Good Value

This is the fourth Dundas I’ve worn. To me it’s difficult to wear other shoes as they do not feel as well constructed, and neither do they give such joy from wearing them. Love these!!
