Love this pair. Easy to dome, since it became my favorite, most comfortable pair of shoes. Had these made bc I can’t afford Alden’s. And tbh I don’t think I’ll ever pony up for Alden’s after my experience with blkbrd.See background
Why I own this
Love Alden Indy boot, but can’t afford them. I have another pair of blkbrds and they offered a crazy good deal for some boots. Free shipping +half off a future pair if f you complete the dome. The customer service was excellent as I initially placed the order for the wrong size. They fixed it and had the custom boots to me in no time.

Mostly outside in Chicago winter. Held up very well.
Leather
I love how the leather has held up. Easy break in. Love the dressier leather on the rugged boot. Occasional brushing and only conditioned it once.
Fit
Perfect fit for my slightly wide, slightly high arched feet.
Craftsmanship
Happy with the construction. No cosmetic flaws I noticed about.
Sole & heel
Soles are great. Good traction walked in wet/ice/ and snow. Comfy underfoot.
