Changed out white Christy for black and had welt blacked out.

Fits like a firm handshake that I expect will relax a bit as it is CXL.

    More about this item

Starting them with some brand new Guarded Goods black cxl kilties. Only thing I would suggest to the maker is a heavier heel counter but they fit like a glove and are really comfortable. Long walk every day so far on mainly concrete and pavement. Had to replace the laces with Pisgah Range when the leather ones broke. 11/1.

Shorter than my other boots so feels a little different in the toe box but not uncomfortable.

Very weak heel counter and the Vibram Christy sole wore quickly. Not the best cut of CXL

Comfortable but wore much too quickly.

    Final thoughts

    Good Value

If the maker changes out the sole and adds a heavier heel counter would be a decent boot for the money.
