Use & wear
I wear them almost every day and most occasions allow. But mostly I work in an office so no hard or heacy duty work. I live in Thailand with hot and humid atmosphere.
Leather
Leather is good, the website said it is combination tanned. I feel comfortable after first few months. The colour wouldn't change much, but there are some creases. Durable as rough out is. The trick is, if you want the leather gets darker and look more rugged, apply mink oil on both sides.
Fit
Not really comfortable, I have quite wide feet, even the size stamped 8.5E, think it's just not wide enough. It's a legendary boots and worth having because if its historical references to some pop culture icons. I am Brannock 10, this one is 8.5E, so I recommend only 1 size down and no more. Even it mimics Munson last but still not that voluminous.
Craftsmanship
270 Flat welted, high quality Goodyear welted. Reproduction soles, not really comfortable as I think Buzz tried to prioritise authenticity over comfortability. However, that's not really a problem if that's your thing. Japan craftsmanship is no doubt the best.
Sole & heel
Not so comfortable as I think because of the too little leather midsole. The soles itself is the direct reproduction of the original sole. It doesn't really have the best grip but not that slippery.
The reproduction heels are not worn out too fast. It works on any conditions.
Final thoughts
If you want to find the 'authentic' reproduction of the M-43 boots with high quality, this is the one. However if you prefer comfortability over authenticity, you may wanna look for different lasts or any brand with more midsole.
