A solidly built boot which is rugged for work as well as with a rich colour for casual wear

The boots have travelled with me over several construction site inspections and visits. Walking through the slush, flooded and concreted surfaces of my construction sites have helped give the boots a lot of character and ruggedness in ageing

The leather is extremely supple and has required almost zero break in. The pull up nature of the leather has helped in it developing a rich variation of colours as well as hold shape and repel water while walking through inundated areas in my construction sites. The scuffs have revealed a lighter hue of the leather around the toe box and heel, adding character to the ageing process Due to dust and cement build up on the leather, my care routine involves wiping it down with a damp cloth every few days and a lot of dry brushing. I conditioned the boots completely only once during this competition, using a mix of coconut oil and beeswax. Mostly, the oils have held in and the dry brushing has helped them come to the top of the leather.

Slightly on the roomier side but a good fit nonetheless. I added an extra foam insole and I can wiggle my toes in the toe box, just as how I like. The fit could be slightly more snug in terms of width but nothing to complain about.

The construction is solid. Finishing could’ve been slightly better as some stray stitching keeps coming off in some of the upper stitchings. The storm welt has been beautifully done and has added character to the boot. The midsole has added the much needed solid-ness to the foot as well as more potential for patina for this contest. Hardware is solid with no complaints

Their proprietary lug sole is moderately durable and grippy in almost all terrains. I have tested them extensively in wet conditions and they have held up well. They are equally good in dry, sandy and terraneous conditions
