The honest reason why I chose these is because I didn’t want to wait for my Wesco customs to be finished and with the temp dropping here in the PNW, I had to get a pair of boots, specifically engineer boots. I very nervous about purchasing from crush on retro simply bc I didn’t know anything about the company and the complete offers amazing replicas of American heritage boots. So I did months of research on COR and pulled the trigger. Throughout the process, they were very communicative. When these came in, i was pleasantly and gratefully surprised, more-so impressed with the quality of the boots (although the buckles could be a better and heavier but I’m not touching them much to even at all so I’ll just chalk that one up to the game). Other than that, I desperately need to break these in. I can just tell that once broken in they will be even more amazing than what they already are.
The maker ended up contacting me about the size bc they didn’t offer a 46 on their site so paid a lil more for my size with communication from the maker.
Ordering process was great and easy. The maker communicated with me every step of the way.
I’m a city boy so I’ll be using these as lifestyle boots, working around the city, I’m in the PNW so all the outdoor things that I stubble into, and while I work.
Can’t wait to find out!
A lil loose on the heel but nothing that my insoles and breaking them in can’t fix. These are a very flat shoe so if you have flat feet you definitely will want to get insoles have that have a high arch to them to help with the instep. Comfortable toe box.
I’m surprisingly impressed with the quality of of these. (The buckles could be a bit more quality and have more weight to them).
These was VERY FLAT and I have very flat feet so definitely needed to put in my high arch insoles. But love the design, love the quality, love the durability and traction.
N/A there’s no heel. The sole is one piece.
I might get another pair after these get well broken in with.
