Beautiful Horsehide Chelsea’s

I have work my boots at work mostly working 80+ hrs/week wearing them everyday with few exceptions. I often work 24+ hr shifts, and slip on boots are super helpful to take on and off in the middle of the night. I do trauma and acute care surgery and have had to wipe several things off of them on the past 6 months.

The right boot lost more of the overdye than the left boot. The left boot is a bit different and the leather creased more than rolled on that side. Overall, the leather is very abrasion and water resistant. I treated them a couple times with Redwing boot oil which is just similar to Bick 4.

This is a lower volume last that work alright for me. I have a very low volume narrow foot, and my toes touch the toe box so much so that they never collapsed, but overall fit well enough to wear comfortably for long hours. Not much arch support.

These are constructed very well. The bottoming is supper strong, and the finishing on the bottoms was top notch. Good construction, maybe some bad luck on the clicking with the left boot, very durable. Upper stitching is a contrast stitch and not laser straight, but still very nice. These are lined with a nice durable leather.

Very good traction and comfort. They were supposed to not have a midsole.

I love these boots. They are beautiful. The ordering process is tough with Instagram, and they were supposed to have woodsman heals instead of block heels and no midsole. However they turned out fine. The overdye didn’t come off like I’d hoped, and I’ll probably polish them black to continue to wear them more dressed up. Very good boot for hand stitched welt and outsole. I would buy from Fortis again.
