So far, I've only worn then three times. They are stiff, solid, all the whole fit like a glove. I can't wait to get them broken in during my daily routine as an HVAC/R contractor.
Being that I've only worn them thrice, I can already tell that that will develop a desired patina.
The Frank's 55 last definitely has a bit more for box room than White's and Nick's. They don't feel too roomy, but their wider toe box is noticeable.
In terms of design, construction and fit, this is for sure one of the finer pairs of boots that I own when it comes to finishing. The level of construction I would say seems to be quite a bit above whites and a bit above nicks. They just feel much more solid and well-built. The attention to detail on the finishing is phenomenal!
So far so good, slight slippage on a grassy hill. But I'm not terribly concerned.
I really like the look and feel when I walk. My heel feels well planted and secure.
Extremely high quality boot. Can't wait to break these in and to have leather conform to my foot. Looking forward to a stunning patina down the line.
