I mainly work from home and wear slippers inside, so these books got most of their use walking the dogs. Stable, solid, but the sole isn’t really great in snow. Better than crepe rubber, but without lugs, it can’t really grab.
The leather is great. The boots were a little stiff at the beginning and there was a fight between my ankle bones and the leather to see who would break in first. But eventually my bones won. I brushed the boots and used a neutral polish on them every month or so, which took them from the lighter forest green to a deep green-black. The leather seems really tough too, the only marks that it got were from the spot near the heel where I used one boot to push off the other and the occasional dog claw to the toe.
Keep in mind that I order a half size too large, but the toe both width is too wide for me
I have not seen a pair of grant stone footwear that isn’t excellently designed and produced. No issues at all.
Good, but it lacks traction in snow
These are great. However I regret getting the size I did. And unfortunately, they’re too expensive to buy in another size.
