I take my 6 year olds to school, after school events, after school sport activities and weekend sport activities. I work in the city. I commute from the suburbs. I work in a casino, so not a terribly rough environment; carpeted or polished floors.. But they worked very well there. They easily stood out from most folks' shoes because of the very noticeable solid construction and detail. I was asked about them many times. I was happy to tell everyone about our welted wear community and the Patina Thunderdome! Other than work, we went on many a hike and park visits with the kids, backyard fires in the firepit.
