I wear these for general daily use around town. They’re great for shopping, errands, walking around the neighborhood, etc. Given the cost & fine finish, I have no intention of wearing them for yard work or in heavy rain or snow.
Given the embossed hatchgrain & hand finishing, I don’t anticipate much patina either this leather. I haven’t observed much in the way of creasing or rolling. Two months in, I haven’t conditioned observed no color change, but I expect the hand finishing will fade to brown in higher friction areas. I haven’t observed much no conditioned these yet.
I’m 10.5E US Brannock. I have a narrow heel, toe splay, flat arch & low volume. Fit advice is to go half a size up to 44. This is the wider E-EE size. Heel is snug, forefoot has perfect amount of room, toe depth is low profile but no contact with top of toes, about an inch of toe space. The Moe last fits my foot better than anything else I have experience with.
The fit & finish on these is impeccable. The last shape & pattern make for a really good looking boot. Low profile & dressy last. Looks great with jeans, pants or trousers.
They’re performing as they should. No complaints. Love the green color.
I love these boots. They fit better than anything I’ve ever worn. The finish quality is unmatched by anything I’ve handled. The pattern & design make for a gorgeous boot. They’re my golden boys. If my house caught on fire, I would grab these on my way out. Maybe not the best value.
