So far I have worn these boots for a few hikes on local trails. And around the neighborhood walking the dogs and just out and about shopping and running errands. I can say for me these are by far the most comfortable boots I have ever owned.
Break in progress has been going well. No complaints so far. The leather is soft and seems like they will definitely hold up for the long haul. So far the care routine has consisted of brushing once a week.
These feel like wearing house slippers. Size seems to run true and they are pretty much broken in out of the box. Plenty of room in the toe box.
Overall design is what I wanted a high top sneaker design in a boot that is zero drop with wide toe box. The construction seems very well built and the finish looks great and will only get better with time as the patina starts to form.
The anvil sole has given me plenty on traction and I love the flexibility.
I would highly recommend Jim green boots, the quality of materials the design and comfort, all for a reasonable price.
