This is my second pair of Jim Green boots; I also have a pair of African Rangers in Crazy Horse. They fit well and are great to wear. So back to the brand for a second pair. But I decided on a different style. That was an easy choice I don’t own any Moc-toe boots. Talking my self out of the crazy horse leather again was hard. I really like the crazy horse. I went back and forth between the Bronco and the Houston brown. In the end I thought the Bronco would be versatile.
I followed Jom Green recommendation that it is sized true to Brannock. I also tried on 11.5; my shoe size has been in a little bit of a flux recently. I wasn’t swimming in those and the fit well enough. I have a pair of African rangers in 11.5 that occasionally think are too big. So, with all that knowledge I choose the size 11s.
Ordering was a breeze, and then shipping was fast.
Everyday wear: hiking, yard work, chilling on the deck, etc
The last started out stiff, not as stiff as a PNW boot but there was an active breaking in period. The pull up on the leather is amazing.
It’s roomie toe box. Good cushion
It’s well put together. It’s a true moccasin construction. It’s appears to be quite durable.
It’s a soft sole. It’s comfortable on pavement and dirt.

The Jim Green Meander Moc-Toe is a great boot. It’s good looking and well constructed. After the break-in, once the leather has soften up they are a joy to wear. All day comfort, fits like a glove but with ample room for the toes to wiggle around. The leather is wearing in nicely in both comfort and astetics. It has a great price point; worth every penny paid and then some. It would be a great first boot for someone.
