I got these last night. The plan is to wear them fairly rarely to the office. Mostly as something more casual than a dress shoe, but black so I can get away with as formal if no one is paying attention.
It's brand new. They polished it at the factory to a high shine. It looks great. The creasing is more *creasing* than rolls like my grant stone pairs in kangaroo. But, like all kangaroo it is extremely supple and instantly comfortable.
This last is definitely generous. I might have been able to go down even further. But it's narrow and supportive at the waist and heel and generous at the forefoot. Extremely comfortable. There is a mild amount of arch support
The craftsmanship on this boot is top notch. Everything is extremely clean.
The only pairs in my collection that compete with these are from Ichigo Ichie and Gaziano & Girling. These are truly impressive boots. There just aren't other makers with this same level of craftsmanship making quality, comfortable lasts. But, these were $350 shipped overnight. There's nothing that can compete with them in that price range. Even double that price range they find VERY FEW competitors. Last night I found myself looking through my closet to see what I could sell and replace with pairs from KMPT. They're that good. Speaking of, anyone want a pair of stow boots?
