I wore these both to work as well as on hikes etc. They held up well on a Snowshoeing trek too. Overall these were my daily wear boots throughout the winter.
It's a really richly colored leather and while that's faded some--especially where they crease most--overall they've held up great. I just broke them in through repeated wear and never experienced any pain during that. I've cleaned and conditioned them a couple times during the last 6 months as they've gotten pretty dried out here in Colorado, especially one time after getting soaked through.
Very comfortable. Snug without being tight. Sized down a full size from Brannock.
The construction is very good. Good customer service. Finishing is pretty good. I would love a few more unstructured toe models from Parkhurst but it is what it is.
Fine. Grippy enough while still looking classy.
Parkhurst makes really nice boots and these have become one of my favorite pairs. They've broken in well and do a good job of filling that space between work boot and office boot. I feel like they can suitably fill either role, depending on how you choose to use them and take care of them. It's a gorgeous horse leather that I expect to continue to patina nicely over time. Would recommend!
