4-5 wears every week since the dome start with the exception of feb. That month the boots were used to sample the zipper tongue you see now. The boots were very comfortable with no hotspots only the midsole need to be broken in (very stiff), which it did after a short amount of time (1-2 weeks). I am mostly indoors and walking on pavement between buildings, which might be why there isn’t noticeable changes. Overall I’m happy with how the boots held up.

Leather

Maryam Brown Horsebutt

These boots felt very stiff when I first received, and I couldn’t tell if the leather was dry or if that is just how the leather felt after dying. When I ordered these I did not specify horsebutt/rump and I found out after the Instagram post-delivery. I did condition these once, and only brushing here and there when it gets dusty. Beeswax was also added to the midsole prior to the snowy weather. To this day, only the tongue has soften (might be different leather, can’t tell for sure) and the rest of the boot is still just as stiff. However, the rolls make it less noticeable. As stated in the header, rolls only, not a crease on these things.

Satisfied with the Fit

Sent in measurements, you know the drill. Fit was perfect. Definitely a roomier last, which I like.

Everything was great (stitching, pattern, finishing). The only gripe I have is that certain areas of the boot seems to be pulled too tight and hairline stretch makes can be seen. But this can also be already on the leather prior to lasting.

Final thoughts

Good Value

Overall a viberg310 look without Viberg pricing. The ability to customize is also a plus. I do need to add that the lead time was about 2 months more than initially quoted (5 months instead of 3) which seems to be a feature of MTO boots. I would recommend, just add 2-3 months to the lead time.
