It is nice to be able to make something and use it for this competition

I have used my wallet daily. The scratches it have are from my car key and key fob. It has some indigo transfer from my jeans.

Shinki shell is rigid and is and ideal material for wallets. Patina took a bit longer to develop. The olive shell has some brown undertones peeping now.

I got this idea from a Japanese brand and I tweaked the dimensions a bit to make it work for the shell piece that I have. The design worked well for me. It accomadated some cash and the cards I frequently use.

Shell cordovan is a special material. It is a joy to craft and to use.
