Østmo X Iron Boots
Type 1
US Men's Brannock: 14.5C HTB/14 HTT
Moe Last: 48.5D-E
Moe last wears narrow and lowish-volume (I’m a Brannock C width and the standard Moe D-E is pretty much spot on). Furthermore, large sizes should strongly consider sizing up from the vendor sizing chart (from +0.5 for Brannock 12.5 to +1.0 for Brannock 14).

Similar to my 2024-2025 dome boots, which I really enjoyed bit wanted to dome an unstructured toe with a more finely tuned fit.
I followed the official ØxIB sizing chart for a previous dome pair and sized up this pair by 0.5 as an adjustment (I recommend doing this for larger sizes)
Simple online ordering during the drop, item arrived approximately 1 month earlier than initially quoted.
Worn every day at 42N latitude, all weather, work, walking the dog, playing with the kids, and light yard work.
Brushing only! Incredible rolls after only a few weeks, and eventually giving way to teacore.
Moe last was made by a dude with long skinny feet so it’s no surprise that it works well for my long skinny feet. I prefer ultra lightweight socks, and have custom low-profile orthotics in both feet.
Not my first pair of ØxIB, heck not even the first pair of these I’ve Domed, so I knew exactly what I was getting into. IB employs elite boot makers with an incredible attention to detail, marry that with wonderful Østmo patterns and you have a worthy contender. Top tier clicking, as evidenced by the wear patterns and rolls. In did lose a rivet in month 4, but those are a $5 repair at my local cobbler.
These soles are my typical go-to, not the best in snow but excellent in all other conditions and very durable. Despite 5 months of daily heavy wear, the heel stack has several more months of regular wear left in it, and the rest of the sole even more.
Stylish, where the dogger angle matches the rear of the boot is perfection.
I have three pairs of ØxIB, one more in production, and no signs of stopping in the future.
