I love PNW boots and Wesco have always been my favorite. Their profile and look make them stand apart from the other brands. I have 4 pairs of Wescos and chose this pair because of the Maryam Brucioto - I think that they will patina beautifully. The lead time was 1 year and I got them just in time for the late entry period. Also, the people at Wesco are alwaya great to deal with. Love the old school approach to doing business.
I have about 15 pairs of boots. With guidance from Bakers, Nicks, and Chris at Wesco - plus plenty of sizing mistakes of my own over the years - I’ve finally dialed in my sizing for my favorite brands. I typically wear a 9E in Whites or Nicks. Chris helped over thr years with my Wesco sizing.
It was a custom order. I wanted the Axebreaker style without the brogue stitching. It took a year from order to delivery. I placed it directly with Chris and Kim at Wesco.
Using for the office and the lot. Getting 5 to 12K steps in per day. PNW climate.
Early days. Was initially concerned about width and second guessed myself regarding not getting E. After day 2 I knew that D was the right call.
55 is my favorite. All my 55's are worn in so I need more time on the MP95 to compare. Early take is that the 55 arch support is hard to beat. That Hendrik low toe box is tight on top - no surprise there. Anticipating it will get better with time.
Best construction of my 4 Wescos. Although they didn't nail the top cap stitching. Instead of the dress toe with the gap between the 2 sets of rows they did 4 rows together. Still looks good. Everything else is perfect.
Good pairing with the Henrik. Nothing fancy but the low profile matches the rest of the boot.
I usually prefer more arch support but I think a taller heel would throw off the aesthetic
Perhaps my favorite pair of boots. Starting leather color is not quite what I expected, when the patina comes in it will look great.
