It brings comfort to my job requires standing for long time and matches the outfit I usually wear.
My size is 5E. I'd compare it with my other boots and a lucky pick
Ask my husband 🤣, the boothead
I’m a solo barista at a coffee shop as well as a full-time baker and brewer. My job requires standing and moving a lot. I wear this pair at least 10 hours a day and 4-5 days a week. Sometimes hiking or gardening. With 6 months of continuous wear and the first three months during the rainy season where I live, these shoes have held up quite well. Humid air and weather cause shoe toes to collapse faster.
The leather is not too thick, but the details of the shoe are hand-stitched from many small pieces of leather, so the shape of the shoe is more difficult to collapse. After a long time, the roughout leather darkens. I always tie the lace tight and kneeing during work make the leather around wrinkle. Color and shape get better with age
To be honest, except for the first 2 weeks it felt a bit numb (because I tightened the laces quite tight), but after that, these shoes were very comfortable, soft, and hugged my feet.
This pair is a perfect design for people who have to stand and walk a lot (I had an accident that affected my knees and these boots are the most comfortable for long time of walking and standing). Well finishing, I like the hand-stitched moccasin details. Designed with many small leather pieces sewn together to create a better fit and a more comfortable toe box.
It feels light and comfortable, suitable for everyday wear
My job is not hard work so this pair breakin slowly, ensuring the fit gets better after time. And for a long time of use, it proves that comfort. This pair also dries quickly if it gets wet (the city I live there is a long rainy season so this is also a plus for me). The color scheme of these boots is also very easy to coordinate. It’s lucky to me when i find this pair with the right size. There are many reasons to like a pair of boots, but I think in addition to preference and aesthetics, comfort is important. Something you have to experience to find the right one. That's also what makes me like to use this item more than another one. It's takes time to feel. Preferences, feelings about beauty as well as feelings of comfort will change with time and the nature of work. Trying on many pairs of shoes and wearing them for a long time to compare is the best way to find a pair that fit to me. I think that's also the reason why we always have more boots even though we say this is the end-game pair 🤣.
