Something happened between day three and day four. Starting day three these things really felt comfortable. No hotspots. No real issues at all. The. Dr Sole sole’s they are very comfortable and I like them a lot. I really like the way the weather is starting to break in a bit. My only partial grip is the tongue on my left foot slide slides to the side. Doesn’t happen on my right foot, just on my left, and I can’t figure out why. Light, Sturdy & Flexible.

They're light compared to the pair I've designated as my digging boots, but are sturdy nonetheless for that type of work, though sturdy as they are, the flexibility in these boots is remarkable; it's like there isn't even a break-in period. So far, these boots have been exposed to mud, sewage water and typical construction material (sheet rock, calium silicate, etc.)Looking forward to further exposure of the elements this coming season...."Read the full review

I imagine this is for extra sock layers for the -40 winters we get here. I made my own insoles from veg tan. Stacked a few layers and added some extra layers to build up the arch.
