By hosekileather • April 3, 2024"Tahura reccommended the nemesis leather when I stated I wanted brown leather with character for my riding boots. I was worried about my shifter scratching them and ordered a shifter pad to protect the left toe. The nemesis leather is surprisingly tougher than it appears. As I got the boots just as the first fall snows came, riding was done for the season, i entered them in the dome so they became my afterwork and weekend boots. The nemesis does patina, but not in a way that shows scuffs and dirt. The color deepened and intesified, but did not get darker. Instead, the boots lost their bright shine and the glaze faded in time. They did not wrinkle as much as i thought the leather would, but formed some beautiful ankle shapes. The break in took a few long days of wear during indoor/outdoor activities. They have shaped to my feet and are my go-to boots for smart casual and casual dress. I've even worn them with a 3pc tweed brown suit. They are comfortable and as I opted for a single thicker midsole, they move easily without feeling clunky. I brushed them weekly with a boar brush and applied neutral polish twice in five months to keep them shedding moisture during the winter...."Read the full review
