The 321 Cap Toe Boot employs Goodyear welt construction, a method patented by Charles Goodyear Jr. 150 years ago. Berwick 1707 manufactures the boot in Almansa using a process involving nearly 200 hand-executed steps.
The construction includes an intermediate sole (midsole) positioned between the leather insole and outsole, along with a leather heel. The boot features a 360-degree storm welt, which enhances water resistance through its elevated welt design. The high fence construction further improves the boot's water-resistant properties.
