The Stride Side Zip Boots employ Flatwelt 270° construction with structured toe boxes and handwelted assembly. Briselblack specializes in veldtschoen construction methods alongside traditional handwelted techniques, utilizing hand-lasting processes developed through their workshop's craftsmanship expertise.

Materials used in production include premium leathers sourced internationally from tanneries in Taiwan, Japan, England, Germany, Italy, and the United States. The Type 2 variant specifically features horsebutt leather overdyed in black from Maryam Tannery, with tan calf skin lining. Almost 80 percent of Briselblack's production utilizes horsebutt leather, reflecting the company's specialization in this material. The boots are fitted with Dr Sole Black Half Sole outsoles and Woodsman heels for durability.

The Type 1 Stride Side Zip Boot uses the Kujang last, described as "the sleekest, most angular toe shape" in Briselblack's collection. The Kujang, named after a bladed weapon from West Java, Indonesia, symbolizes sharpness, balance, strength, and courage. This last features an angular, pointed toe with an outer sweep of the toe box, creating a distinctive silhouette.

The Type 2 variant employs the Batu last and features a whole-cut construction pattern developed after extensive design work. This single-piece leather construction eliminates seams on the upper, creating a cleaner appearance while maintaining the full-length medial zipper functionality. Both variants include a shaft with full-length zipper placement on the medial side for ease of wear.

The Stride Side Zip Boots are produced through Briselblack's made-to-order system, allowing customers to select from curated styles and materials.
