The color is available through authorized distributors as one of the standard Desert Oasis Waxed colorways, alongside Baltic, Snuff, and Black. The raw material is specially selected and tanned to achieve the relaxed, sporty look characteristic of Desert Oasis leathers, with the addition of a surface wax treatment.

Milkshake Desert Oasis Waxed Suede is produced in a thickness range of 1.4 to 2.2mm, with weight specifications listed as 4 to 5 ounces corresponding to approximately 1.6 to 2.0mm thickness. The leather features an average skin size of 12 to 15 square feet. The long-fibred suede construction maintains the soft, chunky character of the base Desert Oasis suede while incorporating the distinctive wax surface application.
