Golden Fox

Golden Fox originated in the late 1980s when the Wu family began selling Goodyear welt boots at local swap meets in California. Chien Chum Wu and Shao Yin Wu incorporated the business in 1988 after identifying steady demand for their products. The business operated under the name Alp Footwear during its initial years and later adopted the Golden Fox Footwear name as its market presence expanded.

Golden Fox uses traditional shoemaking methods, including the Goodyear welt construction technique, in its boot production. This method attaches the boot upper, lining, and sole using a durable stitched welt.

The company uses full-grain leather uppers in its boot designs. The leather undergoes an oil-tanning process, which alters the material to increase its softness and improve its resistance to water, stains, and physical damage.

Golden Fox produces several types of work boots, with designs tailored for industrial, construction, and general work environments. The 6" Moc Toe Work Wedge features a Rubberlon outsole developed for slip and oil resistance. The Boondocker Service Boot Pro includes a heat-resistant outsole rated to withstand temperatures up to 200°F, according to product details. Golden Fox also offers chukka boots, oxfords, steel toe boots that meet ASTM F 2413 M/I-75/C-75 standards, wellingtons, and moccasin toe work boots. Each style is intended to meet specific professional or occupational requirements.
