Briselblack The Hawk

The boondocker style has been captivating to me for a number of reasons from its military heritage to its clean yet robust aesthetic of the roughout leather. These are a pair of boots I can take nearly anywhere and be ready for whatever comes my way

Sizing was a fairly simple matter. I shared my Brannock measurements with Briselblack as well as the sizes I wear in other boots.They came back with a recommendation of a 41. I wish I had asked for some accommodation to be made for my low instep and thin ankles, but the fit is still good.

Communication can be touch and go which is to be expected when dealing with companies especially smaller ones that are on the other side of the globe. There were times where I was to ask questions and have a conversation and others where I had a to wait for a reply but the overall experience was positive.
