I really love hiking and I really hate having to spend money to always buy new boots and shoes every couple years. I can never seem to find a pair of boots that will last so I thought I would buy a pair of nicks boots because they looked to be super durable and would last me a lifetime of casual hiking and weekend handyman work.

I used the nicks online paper tracing guide and did a brannock measure at a store to make sure it matched up.

I placed one order, made a mistake and chose the wrong last. Called in to get advice from customer service and they were great. They helped explain things to me and helped me cancel my first order and redo the order with the 55 last instead of the hnw. And I am so very happy I did. I can't imagine what it would be like to wear a boot with any other last now. I was a little annoyed at having to pay duty and taxes etc. after the exchange rate and shipping and handling and duties it cost me almost $1,000 CAD.i wish they were shipped with a courier that didn't charge extra fees without telling you.
