HNW Last: 8.5E
Fits tighter than expected on the instep. Normally wear 9d in Nicks and opted for size down and up width. My other boots in 9d don't have much instep pressure, and this 8.5E is supposed to be a smidge wider but doesn't feel like it. Heel slip is not bad at all.

These were purchased during Nicks Lightning Ship promo. Took just over 2 weeks from ordering to receiving. Felt like cheating.Q&A
Why did you choose this item?
Chose this boot for a slip on at the station. Much prefer these to the look of redbacks most coworkers use. Chose sierra sole on wedge as opposed to v100 and heel for softer underfoot experience. Won't necessarily need v100 on them and if I did, I have other boots to use.
How did you determine your size?
Normally a 9D in my other Nicks. Wanted a snug feel to minimize heel lift. Other have said theyve gone down 1 size in length and 1 size up in wifldth to greay success. Looking at their sizing chart, the 8.5E is supposed to have a slightly larger instep. I probably could have gone with 8.5EE as they are tight in the instep, mucjmore so than my 9D boots.
What was the ordering process?
Ordering was easy during their lightning ship sale for black leathers. Order got processed and built quickly.
