One week impression

These have a steel shank in the arch with a skived piece of vegtan on top, a good combination it's settling nicely like a full leather stack but it didnt leave me with nearly as much of a bump on the outsole. I should of made the heels with larger pieces of leather so I didn't undercut my welting as steeply. So far theyre holding up well and I'm ready to keep going!

Using lisa sorrels advice and last charts i initially settled on a 9.5d and after making two pairs on that last i decided to get a 9.5f for a little more wiggle room. The 55 last works perfectly for my foot shape.
