These were a combination of style and comfort.

These are beautiful boots that are not cosmetically, perfect, and the long wait time was very difficult. I’m not sure that I would do that again. However, these are a classic boot that really can’t be beat for the style, comfort, and overall feeling. I love these boots and get compliments very regularly almost daily, but I feel like there may be some other options out there with a shorter wait time and slightly better cosmetic construction. all that being said, I will never get rid of them, and will likely resole them and keep them forever.

Style

Wesco’s engineer boots are legendary. I did need to get a custom sizing with my low instep, so I changed a few things here from the stock model. I bought these almost exclusively for style, but having a slip on boot at work was extremely helpful.

This was a maid to measure boot. I used foot tracing and circumference measurements sent to Baker’s boots who then ordered them from Wesco.
