More about this item

Seidel’s Burgundy Double Shot arrives fairly stiff and beefy. The smell is slightly chemically but not unpleasant. They require a fair amount of break-in time but that being said they’re still pretty comfortable straight out of the box. The pull-up quality is very good; most minor scratches, if you want to, you can just lick your finger and rub them right out. The variations in color across the boot are gorgeous, it’s a dreamy rich burgundy, and the brass hardware and white stitching provide nice contrast. The 1972 Last has moderate arch support and while I have high arches I don’t feel that it’s lacking enough to warrant buying higher arch insoles, I think they’re pretty comfortable all around.

Why I own this

I like the build on White’s moctoe boot and couldn’t pass up on that burgundy double shot.

Sent White’s my measurements online and placed the order from that. Over time I’ve had multiple conversations with them, combination of email, phone and in person and was recommended various sizes from a 9 to a 10. I think I could comfortable go down to a 9.5 but I don’t feel like the 10 is too big. I’m not sure if a 9 would be too small.
