In hindsight I would have gone up one size in width, the last is quite narrow after the ball of my foot. By the end of the day, my pinky toes are a tad squished from both the side and the top of the uppers. To solve the issue, I've worn regular socks instead of thicker wool ones I usually wear with my boots.
