Brubeck Boot

The Brubeck Boot is available in multiple leather options including Black, Brown, Shendron Oiled, and Wine Burgundy Pull-Up variations. Both full-height and short boot versions are offered, with each pair including leather and cotton lace options.

The Brubeck Boot features Goodyear welt construction, a manufacturing method that allows the footwear to be resoled, restored, and reworn for extended lifespans. The construction includes cut and lining of leather, an indoor leather template padded for comfort, a leather midsole and sole, and an anti-slip heel. Each component is assembled by hand according to Miles & Louie's production methods.

The company relocated manufacturing from Tijuana to Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico's established shoe production center, to access the region's leather industry resources. This move addressed limitations in leather material availability in the Tijuana area while maintaining the company's handmade production approach.

Miles & Louie was founded by brothers Octavio and Carlos Martinez, who were studying Architecture and Medicine respectively when they started the company. The founders researched footwear production methods using online resources, YouTube tutorials, and reference books from flea markets, developing their skills without formal shoemaking training. Emmanuel Polanco joined as co-founder, initially managing sales and social media operations.

Each Brubeck Boot is cut, treated, and built individually by hand, following the company's emphasis on carefully selected materials including leather, canvas, wood, and ironwork. The manufacturing process incorporates design principles, functional construction techniques, and personalization options through Miles & Louie's custom made service, which allows clients to select colors, finishes, detailing, and original design elements.

Miles & Louie operates a showroom location in Plaza Fiesta, Paseo de los Heroes, Zona Rio, Tijuana, and maintains retail presence in Guadalajara and Mexico City. The company serves international clientele across the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Australia, and Singapore.

As of 2020, Miles & Louie shoes were priced between $100 and $250, though specific pricing for the Brubeck Boot model is not publicly documented. The company's product range extends beyond footwear to include bags, backpacks, wallets, and accessories, with bags priced from $70 to $350 and small goods from $10 to $100.
