Caswell Boot Company Garrett

The first try on and steps in these Caswell Garrett's was one of great anticipation for me. As a fervent fan of the brand, finally trying on Caswell's new handwelted boots was both anxiety inducing and thrilling. The fit is amazing. The porter last hugs my heels and the waist of the boot opens up into a graciously spaced up toebox that allows for my toes to spread out without feeling floppy. The tpr horse leather already shows great promise in its aging through the great shine it has currently. My curiosity to see where the tpr finish fades first and fastest, and what the leather looks like once that happens, is one of the driving forces behind my desire for these absolute curb stompers.
