This is the broken in look. I did not like the look of the brand new Brass boot in black cxl but these are definitely one of my most favorite boots now. Funny how some creases will change the look and feel of the boot. These are one of the most comfy boots I have now. Just keep in mind that you need to go down 1.5 sizes from brannock for them to fit right if you have low instep and skinny ankles like me. lol. Great comfy boots. Now remind me of the Alden Indy’s but better. Thank you Gran Stone for making a wonderful boot as always!

Why I own this
I bought these on sale for BF! They have been on my list of GS’s to purchase for 2yrs now. I’ve never pulled the trigger because I knew what my size was in the Leo last but not the Floyd. This is my 9th GS boots and my only pair that is on the Floyd last. I’ll have to admit, these things were fugly irl out the box but since I’ve developed creases they are starting to look like a well worn pair of boots. The reason I wanted these is because I didnt have any BB’s and because of the wedged sole. I found the wedged sole super comfy but they’re not exactly durable.
How I sized
Funny thing is I own 9 pairs of GS’s and 8 of them are on the Leo last and this is my only pair on the Floyd last. I went 1 full size down from brannock for my Leo lasted boots and these are more roomy so I went with 1.5 sizes down from brannock. They fit like a glove. Awesome!
