Horween Black ChromexcelI love this model boots. Super comfy, durable, and sexy. Goes with dress slacks and selvedge denim. These boots elevate your style. The only thing I wished GS did in these is giving it a natural/contrasting welt. Kinda like the GS Diesel’s in black cxl with the leather sole. I think these will look better with a contrasting welt and when I get these resoled that’s what I will do! I’ve looked for other side zips/chelsea’s and none were of this quality and price. Call me a shill but I call it as it is. GS is my measuring stick and I have not found another brand in the range of $250-$850 that is better. I have even tried the RMW’s because they were 40% off on Amazon and when I got them they felt like Thursday quality. Super lightweight suede, cheap lining, fiberboard heel stack/insole. They fit well but felt really cheap. I will be returning those but this is why I don’t venture outside of GS much.

These are my final Elias boot. Now I have all 4 of them. They remind me of the Casper’s by RDT at a fraction of the cost and no long wait time. Currently restocked but I think the more people learn about the Elias the more this boot will sell since there seems to be a wave of interest for side zip heritage boots. They fit snug out the box in the same size as all my other Elias boots but I’m confident these will stretch. I am super happy with this purchase.
