Grant Stone Elias

It’s been a while since I buy this boot. Haven’t worn them except for a handful of times. One of my favorites. I have all 4 leathers and I’ve never been happier with my purchase. I wished they come out with a Crimson Cxl Elias so I got the Crimson Cxl Chelsea’s. These have hardly broken in but I will wear it until the indigo crocking rubs off on the shaft of the boots. I wished there were more leathers. Maybe GS is going in a different direction copying the RDT Gleaners and the Addict Western Side Zip boot. But honestly I prefer the Elias over the other two. It may be different if they were readily available in USA but the fact you have to purchase them internationally and pay all the custom fees and duty is a huge turn off. On top of that they are rarely on sale and takes months for them to make a pair. Otherwise, I’d get a pair for sure. I did find that the Addict western boots’ heel stack is fiberboard I prefer a leather heel counter and the Elias is 100% leather.
