More about this item

Sizing is off from Jackrabbits. Their sizing system is flawed. These are supposed to be a 12 but are sized surprisingly small.

Why I own this

Ready To Wear

I found out about this competition in March and needed a new pair of boots. I saw a YouTube video about Jakkrabits and decided to order a pair. The website was easy to navigate and their model caught my attention due to the super grip half sole and leather quality. I figured it was worth a shot for a new experience. I would wear these daily in my rotation with a pair of timberlands to rotate. Quite a contrast.

How I sized

I measured my feet and submitted to Jakkrabits as per their process. I informed them of my brannock size but they chose not to follow that information. The result is a pair of boots that are very small. My recommendation is to absolutely insist on sizing by brannock rather than their system.

Ordering process

Purchased from Jakkrabbits BootmakerTotal cost: 430 USD Lead time: About 1 month

It was a little bit rushed in order to get these shipped to me in time for the competition. They worked through email and with the time zones it was a bit of doing this over old school email, where back in the day I’d log in once a day and download aol mail and send in a session. I traced my feet and they told me the size.
