Breaking in roughout leather is no joke, that first month really tests your patience. But that’s also why I love it. The real magic doesn’t show up until around the third month, when the patina starts revealing a personality of its own. I work in an office, so getting that heavy worn-in look takes effort. I try to wear them every chance I get, even if it means forcing them into my daily routine. They’re comfortable, but the left boot is oddly stubborn, sometimes it refuses to come off, depending on the socks I’m wearing. Little struggles, small victories.
