The tea-core is shining through now more than ever. I’m glad I didn’t give up on taking my monthly photos because I can finally tell things are only going to get better from here. I seem to be beating my right boot up more than my left somehow because it has more gashes in it, but my left is wearing the black finish down faster in the toe cap. Maybe it has something to do with the right toe cap having more loose grain? I’ll have to pay closer attention to how I’m wearing these boots and what’s scuffing them all the time.

Why I own this
Personally wanted something 100% constructed in the US with 100% US-sourced materials. Job requirements were that the boots had to be black in color, have a polishable toe, provide good ankle support, be made of a predominantly leather upper, and be EH rated.
How I sized
Followed online sizing guide. Half a size down from brannock.
Ordering process
Once I watched a few videos and read the buying guide, I understood all the store options well enough to make the order.
