Decided to give my pair of Natty Dub Lights a little looking after today. Removed the laces and kilties, gave them a good brushing to clean and warm the leather up, and then applied a light coat of Smiths Leather Balm with my finger tips. I let them sit for about 30min and then went over them with a soft cotton cloth, and finally finished them with another round of brushing with the horse hair. Been wearing them as a regular part of my rotation since Labor Day. The leather is picking up color, caramelizing LOL, and character really well. These were a great RTS find, I couldn’t pass up getting this Natural Light Dublin leather in my collection. I wouldn’t have ordered a boot with these specs; but they are growing on me and have helped me determine what I like and don’t. 11.5D, T55 last, 10”, celastic toe, 4 row toe cap, natural edge, V100 sole, classic heel. Kilties are Timber CXL from Guarded Goods, and the laces are 92” Rattlesnake, unwaxed from Generation Laces. Nice way to relax for about an hour or so on a Friday afternoon. Hope you all have a great weekend!
