I need leather boots for work. I wanted to try a moc toe stitch with this pair. My first boots from Nick's was a plain, unstructured toe boot and I was curious if the moc-toe stitching would be something I noticed any difference or benefit vs a more simple toe. At the time of ordering, bison has the shortest lead time, so that's what I went with. I emailed customer service after ordering these to ask if the could adjust the width. The website was only displaying FF as the maximum width, but my other pair was that width and I wore holes through the lining leather. They were kind enough to adjust the width of my order to FFFF width. Nick's is tremendous for offering the vast amount of sizes. I think it's something like over 220 possible length and width combinations. These boots have the most whole contract patch of any boots I've ever owned . Usually the tread under the ball of my foot looks completely new when the rest of the tread is completely shot because my toes are all smooshed up in boots that aren't the correct size. Thanks again to the good folks at Nick's for offering such amazing sizing options.

This is my second pair of boots on the hnw last. My original pair of Nick's needed to be rebuilt because they were too narrow and I wore through the interior lining leather. This pair is 2 widths wider than my original purchase from Nick's and are much more comfortable. I'm not sure how, but the 365 stitchdown construction seems really uncomfortable when compared to Nick's more traditional build method with the cut flange and nailed heel.
