My feet are between a D/E. I have to tighten up my ankles pretty tough to have that lockdown feeling. Compared to my Whites 55 last in size 12D, those feel a bit more snug but would prefer a little more room.

More about this item

My 1964 Monarch Smooth came out with a nubuck finish throughout the entire boot. Originally it was definitely not what I expected especially with pictures posted by other customers and Nicks themselves but I’ve come to like them. Wish there was more pull up. The leather does have a lot of variability on how it looks, whether it’s on camera or in person. Interesting leather. One downside is that when the boot gets wet it instantly shows the water marks. It disappears rather quickly and I wonder how it’ll look when the rainy season comes. I haven’t applied any water proofing spray as of yet.
