Predator Orange continues to prove why it’s such a special leather. The patina development has been incredible to watch. What started as a vibrant orange is steadily oxidizing and deepening into a rich, complex brown, with tons of tonal variation emerging across the flex points and high-wear zones. The vamp is darkening fastest where the creasing concentrates oils, while the quarters are holding onto more of that original warmth. You can really see the pull-up character working overtime—every scuff, every brush against denim, every step adding another layer of depth. They were comfortable from day one, but as the leather has relaxed and molded, the creases have become more defined and natural, giving the boots even more character. I haven’t worn this pair quite as heavily as my others, which makes the gradual transition even more satisfying
