Bought mostly based on the leather, elston last's reputation as a roomy toe box, and the clearance pricing didn't hurt either.
I have moderate duck feet so my toes get crushed in most boots I've tried; it's been difficult to find an office-appropriate heritage boot that doesn't cause me crippling toe pain. These are still borderline too snug even in thin socks, but there's at least some cause for optimism.
