Red Wing 6-Inch Classic Moc

Took the mocs on the week long trip to Colorado, kept my feet warm the entire time, but the traction tread sole is not the best in the snow. Damn near busted my ass more times than I can count. Side note - the right boot is developing lots of toe spring from daily wear.

Had a tiny amount of heel slip when I first bought them but after a few days of wear the boot broke in and the heel slip went away. Break-in was relatively easy for this boot. No major discomfort.See background
Why I own this
I saw several photos and posts of the boot and really liked the light color of the Abilene. It seemed like a perfect boot to daily for the thunderdome since it could pair well with most denim and pant colors. I also enjoyed how the boot patinas even though it’s a Roughout.
How I sized
I used a combination of sources to determine my size, I looked up comments on Reddit, took advice from YouTube videos, and compared their comments to how I fit in other boots. Ultimately I went into my local Red Wing store to try on another boot with the 23 last (they didn’t have the Abilene in stock).
Ordering process
I ordered these online through red wings website. They immediately shipped the boots and I received them a few days later. Pretty seamless if you ask me.
