Day out tramping the west coast of Norway. This pair is now starting to get comfortable, especially the footbed, even if it feels a bit narrow at the toes weirdly. Getting some sense of an arch as the leather in the footbed compresses which is nice. Essentially, I am realising that any footwear which has predominantly leather components needs a minimum of around six months to a year of use in order to fully break in and mould to the wearer’s feet, especially so given my usage patterns which involve bursts of on-off usage every day.
